To mark the 70th anniversary of his death, our popular Alan Turing Encounter Walk has been refreshed. It is now circular, lasts 90 minutes and covers latest research about Alan’s links to Guildford.
Alan Turing is considered the Father of modern computing and well known for his code-breaking work during the Second World War. He was also a significant figure in the development of Artificial Intelligence.
Guildford was the home town of Alan Turing where he grew up and continued to visit family members right up until his tragic death.
