Event Description

On the anniversary weekend of the opening of the Museum, we will spend a weekend focussing on the buildings at the heart of the Museum collection – their construction methods, building forms, and conservation.

From carpentry to masonry, thatching to plumbing, the Museum has a wealth of information both in terms of the buildings and our artefact collection. With the support of craftspeople associated with the Museum, we will also have some demonstrations illustrating a variety of building trades with some opportunity to ask questions.

A programme will be uploaded a couple of weeks before this weekend.
