Event Description

Are you ready to explore Hythe?
Are you looking for something to do with family and friends or seeking a fun day out with the kids in Hythe?

Then why not explore Hythe Marina on this self-guided treasure hunt themed Treasure Trail. As you follow the Trail route, can you solve the sneaky clues set on existing buildings, permanent features and monuments to discover the location of the buried treasure?

This circular Trail starts at the public car park by the library in Hythe. Hythe is famous for Christopher Cockerell and his invention of the Hovercraft. It also witnessed ships such as the Titanic and the original Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth sailing out from Southampton on their maiden voyages.
