Paneer Tikka (V) (chunks of paneer marinated in spices and grilled in the oven)
Chilli Chicken (NV) (Chicken Strips fried in sauce & Peppers)
Vegetable Korma (V) (Fresh Veggies cooked in Creamy Coconut Sauce)
Lamb curry (NV) (Lamb cooked with fresh spices in gravy)
Jeera Rice (Basmati Rice steamed with Cumin seeds & Spices)
Rotis (2 per Person) Indian flatbread
Vermicelli Kheer (sweet milky pudding made with vermicelli, milk, butter and cashews)
Smitha Reddy. our Jihva Curry Club Chef, prepares and cooks truly delicious and authentic dishes, using only fresh vegetables and her own masalas from scratch. Strictly no tinned, or frozen food!
Smitha started cooking as a child, observing her grandmothers, aunties & mother in Hyderabad, South India (famous for its Biryani). Her natural culinary talents were soon recognised and appreciated by her friends and family, which continued when she moved to the UK in 2004 where her friends and cousins flocked to her house for her amazing food during festivals and holidays.
Comments from our guests at a recent Locals Get Together at The Hive, who sampled the food was that it was the ‘best they had ever tasted’. We are really looking forward to sampling more of Smitha’s food at the Jihva Curry Club nights, planned for the last Thursday of every month.
