Join us for magical musical evenings in the elegant Music Room of Stansted House!

THURSDAY 14TH OCTOBER

Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start.

Peter Allwood
Peter was a choral scholar in the choir of King's College, Cambridge. His
subsequent teaching career involved running music departments at three
schools, Leighton Park, Oundle and Christ’s Hospital, and for ten years he
was Head of Lichfield Cathedral School. He has wide experience as a
conductor of operas and orchestral works, and has worked extensively
with adult, youth and children’s choirs.
He is now a freelance musician, conducting, composing and performing
as a singer, organist and pianist. Since June 2017 he has been Chairman
of the Cathedral Music Trust.

Rebecca Grove
Rebecca performs both as a soloist and as a member of a choir. Past
performances include singing Mabel in Pirates of Penzance, Abigail in
Nabucco during a Summer Opera workshop, and Mozart’s Alleluia
accompanied by Chichester Symphony Orchestra. Rebecca enjoys
attending singing days and workshops. She is a member of the St Richard
Singers and also performs at the Bognor Regis Music Club.

Stephanie Peat
Before pursuing a career in music Stephanie initially trained as an actress,
performing in theatre, television and film. After completing her music
degree at Chichester University in 2000, Stephanie became a
contemporary singing teacher at South Downs College. She enjoys singing
both classical and contemporary music, having performed in concerts and
shows throughout the south over the last 20 years. She now also teaches
and records in her recording studio at home in Portsmouth.

Charlie Wood
Charlie made his West End debut as Don Jose in Bizet’s ‘Carmen’ and
studied under Arthur Reckless at the Guildhall.
He took part in a winning performance at the Waterford Light Opera
Festival and was invited to sing in Rome with the English Imperial Players.
More recently he has been performing with Singing Salon lead by Pippa
Dames-Longworth where he is starting to enjoy more contemporary music.
