Event Description

Sutton Valence Music Society, founded in 1973, normally offers concerts each year between September and March. These are held in the Music School of Sutton Valence School. Groves Hall is an acoustically designed music room providing a setting both intimate and friendly in which to enjoy performances given by young award winning musicians.

This season, because of the COVID pandemic, we have decided to organise on line concerts. The musicians will perform live at Groves Hall in the music school at Sutton Valence School and their concert streamed as they are being performed to our members. We are excited to be able to continue to offer concerts and also support musicians in performing live music in this way.

We will not be seeking subscriptions this year but instead ask our members and other viewers to donate to the society a fee for each concert.

Further concerts will be planned following the response to our first two concerts. We are following the government guidelines and would like to think we can be live again for our concerts from January 2020, but who knows….
