Event Description

Violist Rachel Roberts performs as soloist and chamber musician in the world’s leading venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York. She regularly plays at international festivals such as the Salzburg Music Festival. She has appeared as violist with the Tetzlaff String Quartet and the Nash Ensemble. Professor of Viola at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, she frequently gives masterclasses across Europe, Asia and the U.K.

Rachel will be performing:
Brahms Sonata in F minor, Op.120, no. 1
Hindemith: Solo Viola Sonata, Op.25, no. 1
Vieuxtemps: Capriccio in C minor for viola solo, Op. 55
