The Staines-upon-Thames Santa Fun Run is traditionally a great event for friends and family to dress up and paint the town red with hundreds of Santa’s running walking and wheeling around town.
The event is organised by Staines Rotary, supported by the Elmsleigh Centre, The Two Rivers Shopping Centre, Oasis Estate Agents and BUPA.
This year’s run will be a "virtual" multi directional run. Each Santa will plan and run their own 2 to 3.5km run or walk local to their area and compliant to COVID-19 rules at the time of the run.
You may use the Strava Running App to plan your run, walk and upload and share photos and videos. Send us your videos, photos and descriptions or your run and we will create a video montage of the event and post your comments photos.
Entrants will be provided with a Santa suit and hat, a participant number and a beard for adults. They can be customised to suit individual style. All finishers will receive a Medal, also in the pack.
As the event is virtual, it can take place at any time between Friday, 4th and Sunday, 6th December 2020.
You can register and pay using a debit or credit card of your choice. Once you've completed this, you will be sent an email confirmation of your entry to the event, including when and where to pick up your Santa suit(s).
Entry to this event is just:
£12.50 for an adult (16 and over)
£10 for a young person (aged 9 to 15)
£5 for a child (aged 5 to 8)
£30 for a family (two adults and two children)
£35 for a family (two adults, one child and one young person)
£40 for a family (two adults and two young people)
£45 for a group or corporate (four adults)
Free for a child (aged 4 and under)
The run is a fun event, whilst at the same time raising much needed money for the charities that we are supporting this year. So, please help us by firstly participating and secondly getting all your friends and family to sponsor you for your own designated charity.
