Event Description
Roots Remembered is a female lead collective, holding spaces for people of all backgrounds and walks of life to connect with nature and their own creativity in a meaningful way. We encourage our participants to experience the physical and emotional benefits of being in nature as well as the collective benefits that a deeper connection with the earth could bring us. The more we connect with the earth, the more we are likely to do what we can to protect it.
Join us as we go on a journey over four days at The Quadrangle, Kent. Through creative exploration, storytelling, nature connection and ritual, we will support you on a nourishing journey of self-discovery.
Take the opportunity to pause everyday life and carve out time to learn from the wisdom of ‘The Heroine’s Journey’ to connect with your authentic self, the natural world and a wonderful group of women. If you have joined us for last Heroine's Journey retreat- this will not be a repeat- but rather a 'deepening' of our journey last year.
There will be a range of wonderful offerings such as;
🏊♂️ Wild swimming and walking
🍳 Communal cooking
🌿 Nature crafting
🎶 Singing
💃 Movement
📝 Reflective journaling
🔥 Storytelling around cosy campfires
This will be a co-created space with community building and accessibility at it's heart. With this in mind we will ask participants to take shared responsibility for meal prep, creation and clear up as well as keeping the spaces we use clean and tidy.
