The Story and Music of Rodgers & Hammerstein, Avenue Theatre

‘The Story and Music of Rodgers and Hammerstein’ tells the story of how Rodgers & Hammerstein met and collaborated to produce some of the most memorable musicals to be performed on stages around the world.

The cast comprises of 2 professional singers and pianist/soloist. They will perform a range of solo’s/duets and ensemble numbers from some of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most popular shows including The Sound of Music, Carousel and Oklahoma. There are also some set choreographed pieces from ‘The King & I’, ‘The Sound of Music’ and Oklahoma.

Dean Caston will play the part of the narrator telling the story of this popular musical duo. The show is in 2 acts with total running time of approx. 120 minutes.
