Learn how to weave with willow to create a sculptural form in a boat-like shape that can be used for serving fruit or bread. You will learn how to make a basic curved vessel by manipulating soaked willow, and weaving and packing techniques to complete your form. Willow of different colours and varieties will be available to experiment with.
Creating your own handmade crafts can be a therapeutic and an enjoyable experience and you will have beautiful items to take home with you or give as gifts.
All basketry materials and tools will be provided. Please bring a notebook and pen.
