Pub in the Park come to Tunbridge Wells

The brainchild of TV chef and restaurateur Tom Kerridge, Pub in the Park is back for its second year and coming to a town near you. After an incredible debut last year in Marlow, Pub in the Park will now be expanding to three new locations this summer in Bath, Knutsford and Tunbridge Wells. From the 6^th to the 8^th of July, the Gold medal winning Dunorlan Park in Tunbridge Wells will be transformed into a cornucopia of culinary delights and musical treats.

This innovative festival combines Tom’s love of great food, pubs and live music and is the perfect summer’s day out.

For the Foodies

Tom and his team of world-class chefs will be bringing the best of their restaurants and pubs to Dunorlan Park, with pop-ups to cater to all of your cravings. Michelin starred gastro-pubs The Coach, The Hand and Flowers (Head Chef, Tom Kerridge) and Stephen Harris’ The Sportsman, will be cooking up inventive yet unpretentious food and Atul Kochar, (Head Chef at the award winning Indian Essence), will serve up his modern Indian food like you’ve never tasted before. Transporting your taste-buds to Northern Spain, Mark Sargeant’s The Wife of Bath will be serving up their take on Spain’s finest food, with Tapas perfect for a balmy summer’s evening!

As well as food from award winning pubs and restaurants, Pub in the Park will be providing cooking master-classes from top celebrity chefs including Andrea Hartnett MBE, The Great British Bake Off’s 2016 winner Candice Brown and of course, Tom himself plus many more. The master-classes are a great way of learning to expand your culinary repertoire and learn some great kitchen skills from the professionals!

If you like what you’ve seen of the fantastically fresh produce and artisan delicacies, Pub In The Park will also be showcasing a great range of small independent food companies with boutique shops selling the tastiest products the UK has to offer!

Musical Treats

After indulging in the fine food and drink on offer, you can relax on the lawn while soaking up some fantastic live music. The line-up has something for all musical tastes, from pop to rock and R&B. Friday evening will see performances from Pop-icon Sophie Ellis-Bextor, whose sing-along, feel good favourites are sure to create a great atmosphere, and the mighty talented Brit award winning Tom Odell, whose song ‘Another Love’ shot him to fame in 2012. The soundtrack to Saturday afternoon will be served up by Toploader and indie singer-songwriter Gabrielle Aplin, with Razorlight and former Spice Girl Mel C playing the later session for what is sure to be a great evening of music. Transporting you back to the 1980s, chart-toppers The Christians play their smooth soul inspired sounds perfect for a Sunday afternoon and R&B legend Billy Ocean and indie-pop outfit Scouting for Girls will play out what is set to be a fantastic weekend at Pub In the Park. Tom has said to “Expect great food, brilliant music and an ace day out!”
