Sausage and Cider Festival – Portsmouth Guildhall

The Sausage and Cider Festival returns to Portsmouth for a second year, to take over the Guildhall this August.

This year's event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with an even greater variety of delicious sausages - certainly not the standard bangers you'd find in your local supermarket! Organisers source from the finest butchers around the UK, to choose the quirkiest and most adventurous sausages to bring to the festivals.

If you want even more of an experience, why not enter one of the day's competitions? How many sausages can you eat in two minutes? Or, can you beat the heat at the chilli-eating competition? Be warned, this features the world’s hottest chilli. Or, you can just be an observer whilst are enjoying a pint or two of cider.

There will also be incredible live music to enjoy with the in-house band and live DJs.

Organisers love real cider, and scour all corners of the UK looking for the finest, sweetest and tastiest varieties that money can buy! Non-cider drinkers fear not, as there will also be a host of fantastic craft beers to enjoy, as well as a Gin Bar and Prosecco Bar available - in addition to some soft drinks.
