Folkestone Funny Fest

From the producers of Big Funny Fest, comes the inaugural Folkestone Funny Fest, taking place Live and Open Air in The Goods Yard, Harbour Arm on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th September 2022.

There are two star-studded mixed billed shows, each featuring 5 comedians. The line-up includes Ed Byrne, Simon Brodkin, Rob Deering, Zoe Lyons, Jen Brister, Tom Ward, Helen Bauer, Sophie Duker, Huge Davies and Andrew Maxwell.

The festival takes place on Folkestone's restored Harbour Arm, inside The Goods Yard. This is a ticketed open-air event, fully seated with sheltered areas. The capacity is 630 seated.

The Goods Yard is home to 10 independent, street-food style kiosks, a large outdoor LED screen showing the major sports of the day, a programme of outdoor cinema classics, and a year round programme of events.

In addition to the comedy, the festival will feature local musicians, craft beer, cocktails, and some of the best food traders in Kent.

Folkestone is home to the UK's biggest outdoor art exhibition; it's become a foodie destination and now it's thirsty for comedy. Folkestone has been included in Lonely Planet's list of the World's Best Places to Visit in 2022.
