Event Description

We are delighted to present a night with Daoirí Farrell.

Pronounced “Derry”, he has been described as “one of the most important traditional singers to emerge in the last decade” by the ex-Planxty luminary Donal Lunny.

Accompanying himself on bouzouki, Daoirí has to date released two albums. His second, True Born Irishman, led to him being nominated for three BBC Folk Awards in 2017. He subsequently won two, including the Horizon Award for best newcomer.
