Ceramic Soap Dishes One-Day Course – Dodhurst Farmhouse

Participants will make between 3 and 5 soap dishes using hand building techniques in my peaceful studio on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.

Participants will be warmly welcomed with coffee, tea and cake to my peaceful studio. The day is suitable for those with no experience of clay and those wanting to extend their skills. I will lead you through the process of making soap dishes using various hand building techniques including slab building, coiling, and molding.

After the course I will dry, biscuit fire and then glaze your pieces in your chosen glaze. The pieces will be ready for collection within 3 weeks of the course.

There will be a maximum of 6 participants. I will provide refreshments but ask you to bring your own packed lunch.
