Christmas in the Woods

Join us on our Christmas walk through the woods, discovering what the elves get up to and how our wildlife prepares for winter.
All Trust events and activities taking place from 1st September onwards will be carried out in line with current government guidelines and Health & Safety practices at that time. As this will change over the coming weeks and months, we ask that you check regularly on the website for updates as any of these events may be subject to change or cancellation.

Please help to protect our staff and other members by not attending any of these events if you or anyone in your household is feeling ill or have symptoms of Covid-19.

A children's event to capture the magic of Christmas in the woods.

Wrap up warm and join us in our search for Father Christmas, busy in his forest grotto. On the way we will play some seasonal games and look out for winter wildlife. In the grotto you will be able to toast a marshmallow and there might even be a small gift from Santa, depending if you have been naughty or nice!

Back in the centre, we will warm up with a mince pie and a hot drink, while making Christmassy crafts and enjoying the festivities inside.

Booking essential, children must be accompanied by an adult (2 adults max per family) and don't forget to wrap up warm! Activities are aimed at 4-10 year olds, they are not suitable for under 4 year olds. (For our Christmas Tots events check out the 8th December and 10th December!)
