Clare Teal, with her stunning voice, encyclopaedic knowledge of jazz, swing and big band music, and her innate warmth and wit, is one of the UK’s most celebrated and much-loved singers. She's a sought- after singer throughout the country as well as a prolific recording artist and popular BBC Radio 2 broadcaster. In 2018, she presented her fourth full-scale BBC Prom Concert.
Formed over 30 years ago, the Len Phillips Big Band features 16 of the UK’s finest musicians who, between them, have played with Tony Bennett, Bing Crosby, Ted Heath, Ella Fitzgerald, John Dankworth, Freddie Mercury and Burt Bacharach, the band’s latest album Let’s Face The Music And Dance is played regularly on BBC Radio 2.
