Faye Bridgwater Artists Open House – Brighton

A private tour of my open house, where you can see paintings and ceramics. One ticket provides admission for up to 4 people from the same group. Alternatively, if we can't meet in person, or if you would prefer to meet online, this can be a virtual tour via Zoom. If you would like longer than half an hour, please book multiple consecutive slots.

New venue for 2020! Faye returns to Artists Open Houses, welcoming you to her own home for the first time with this joyful solo exhibition! This year, Faye had a huge confidence boost, with her work winning not one but two prizes: the John Purcell Paper Prize for the Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours and the Derwent Art Prize (People’s Choice). She also had work selected for The Society of Women Artists annual exhibition. After this, she was buoyant and started creating her new work with ease. With this confidence came bold, expressive brushwork and self assured joy, laying down exciting colours and lines.

Faye’s home will be filled with expressive contemporary landscape paintings, beautiful drawings, quick studies, ceramics landscapes and greeting cards. Her work is inspired by the photos posted on her Brighton Skies Facebook Group that Faye founded in 2017 that now boasts over 15,000 members.
