Event Description

Horley Carnival takes place on Saturday 17th June 2023, 12-5pm in the A23 Recreation Ground on the Brighton Road in Horley. The theme for this year is 'The Natural World'.

There will be a Parade leaving the Victoria Road car park at 12.30 turning into Massetts Road, then into Russells Crescent and turning left into Victoria Road. The Parade then travels north along Victoria Road through the town centre and then into the A23 Brighton Road arriving in the Recreation Ground at approximately 1pm.
There will be a rolling road closure along the roads that the Parade passes along with side roads too so go to our website to find out more information on the road closures.

In the Recreation ground there will be lots of stalls from both community and commercial organisations who will have crafts, books games, tombolas, lucky dips and all sorts to keep you entertained!
There will be lots of food and drink too so check out our Facebook page or website nearer the day to find out what sort of food will be available but I can tell you that the Horley Lions Bbq will be there and there will also be an ice cream van, hot and cold drinks, cakes and sweets!

In the arena there will be displays from gun dogs and birds of prey. The Rock Choir will also be performing as well as a couple of marching bands. There will also be a Punch & Judy show outside the Arena. Check out the website and social media nearer the event for a full programme.
