Event Description

Josh Widdicombe has become one of the most in demand and highly regarded comedians in the UK for both his live stand-up and TV work since his debut gig in 2008.

Now, join Josh as he celebrates the release of his first memoir, Watching Neighbours Twice a Day… How ’90s TV (Almost) Prepared Me For Life.

Live in conversation with support from Ivo Graham, Josh will tell the story of a strange rural childhood, the kind of childhood he only realised was weird when he left home and started telling people about it. From only having four people in his year at school, to living in a family home where they didn’t just not bother to lock the front door, they didn’t even have a key.

WARNING: This is a book event rather than stand-up so it may be a bit more ramshackle/honest/laid back (delete as appropriate) than a normal gig (and there will almost certainly be a Q+A).

The show will be followed by a book signing and books will be available to purchase on the night.
