We are delighted to announce that the mighty King Charles is back on the road and making his first visit to Revelation with a sensational new album ‘Out Of My Mind’ exploring four of the core themes that have dominated pop music… love, loneliness, sex and suicide. Who hasn’t battled the rollercoaster ride of a relationship, unrequited love or lust, or struggled with dark thoughts or depression? King Charles plays with those topics throughout an album dominated by energy and emotion.

If you’re familiar with Charles’ previous albums, this new set may well come as a surprise. The frenetic folk of his debut album ‘LoveBlood’ is put on the backburner, as is the laidback elegance of the follow-up ‘Gamble for a Rose’. Born from a desire to “get people bouncing at the shows”, the new album amplifies the energy in unexpected ways.

Charles’ rise was kickstarted when he won an international songwriting contest in Nashville, with a panel featuring Tom Waits picking him as the best of 15,000 entries. That was the jolt that pushed his own career towards the release of ‘LoveBlood’ in 2012.

Seven years on and King Charles is fulfilling his undeniable potential. You’ll doubtless see him living the life of an artist: playing the length and breadth of the country, and spreading his wings, perhaps by hitting New Orleans or earning a following in Tokyo.
