Event Description

A collection of signalling instruments whose sounds had a specific function, part of 19th century agricultural life in England.

On loan from the Horniman Museum and Gardens, with thanks to Object in Focus, funded by Arts Council England.

The exhibition is complemented by rare surviving objects of Kentish tradition, including hooden horses from our own collection.
Exhibition dates: 7 October 2020 - 20 February 2021
