Let your Christmas wishes take flight at Leeds Castle as the beautiful staterooms are transformed into a magical kingdom of birds and festive feathers.
This Christmas, experience a gateway into an enchanted, feathery world from the 23rd November to 1st January. Start your journey through the magnificent Castle rooms with a magical forest of owls to red-breasted robins surrounded by glittering snowdrops. Experience a lavishly dressed banqueting table, laid for a Christmas feast, as you continue through to the glitz and glamour of Lady Baillie’s Bedroom, where there is a variety of treasures to spot amongst Christmas garlands. Write your Christmas dream on a feather in a room of winged wishes and experience shimmering duckling eggs ready to hatch under the tree, with the signature Leeds Castle black swan among decorations of silver and gold.
After exploring the wonders of the Castle rooms, meet the Castle’s real birds of prey at the Christmas Market. The annual Christmas Market will take place from 10am to 5pm every weekend from 23rd November through to the 15th December with a splendid array of seasonal gifts, toys, festive decoration and specialist food and drink. Visitors can enjoy nostalgic fairground rides or take a leisurely trip on the big wheel for a spectacular view of the Castle.
Celebrate the Christmas season with your friends and family, colleagues or clients with Leeds Castle’s festive food offerings throughout December; including a sumptuous three-course Christmas dinner in the Fairfax Hall with stunning views across the moat to the Castle, Sunday Christmas lunches in the Castle View Restaurant and delicious homemade mince pies and mulled wine being served to get you in a merry mood leading up to Christmas.
The Castle decorations and Market are included in the price of admission. Tickets to Leeds Castle cost £26 for adults; £24 for seniors and visitors with disabilities (carers goes free); £17.50 for children (under 4s free) and £70 for a Family ticket. Leeds Castle is located near Maidstone in Kent just off Junction 8 of the M20 within easy reach of London. Grounds open at 10am daily and the Castle is open from 10.30am. Last admission is 4.30pm and gates close at 6pm from April to September, while last admission is 3.30pm and gates close at 5pm from October to March.
