
Event Description
The concert at Eridge Park offers the perfect setting in which to enjoy a picnic concert while appreciating a wonderful evening of entertainment. The event will commence with a breath-taking 8000ft freefall parachute display followed by a majestic spitfire display accompanied by well-known British war themes. This will be followed by a proms concert with London’s Orion Orchestra, which has some of the finest young musicians in the country.
The orchestra will play everyone’s proms’ favourites including the 1812 Overture, the Sailor’s Hornpipe, Land of Hope & Glory, Rule Britannia and Jerusalem along with a whole host of other fantastic classical pieces. Two internationally famous opera singers will also be performing some well-known operatic classics. The evening will end with a spectacular firework display by Meteor Fireworks which will be fully synchronised to the orchestral score.
Gates open at 4.00pm and the evening will end at 10pm. Food and drink is available to buy on site. Picnics are also allowed. Parking is free. Queen fans can also buy tickets to see the amazing UK Queen performing many of Queens best loved music at Eridge Park on Friday 6 August 2021.
