The Power Through Breast Cancer One-Day MasterClass provides essential survival information delivered in a small-group environment (maximum 5 people and me) that has the potential to help you live stronger and longer after breast cancer.
We know that cancer thrives in a very specific 'microenvironment' and that changing that environment can change outcomes. In my view this information should be available to everyone, and included in conventional treatment protocols: it's not complementary, it's fundamental. Any effort you make to improve your health after diagnosis is likely to improve treatment outcomes and shift you further towards the right end of the survival statistics. In fact, in July 2019 several respected healthcare institutions called for changes to the delivery of cancer care across the UK with greater focus on ‘prehabilitation’, including nutrition, exercise and psychological support’ to improve treatment options, side effects and recovery.
If you've been recently diagnosed you probably haven't got time to wait for the NHS to find the budget and the people to deliver the quality of information you need. I'm uniquely qualified to bridge the gap and I've developed a small-group one-day MasterClass to do exactly that.

ABOUT THE DAY
The MasterClass will take place at my home in Modest Corner. If you put TN4 0LS into the sat nav you should find me; when you arrive at your destination please take any of the available parking places on the road and walk down to my house, number 16, which is towards the bottom of the little lane - less than 100 metres. Or if you prefer to travel by train then aim for Tonbridge station where there is a taxi rank that will take you the 3 miles to my address. Please note that we have a dog and a cat in the house.
WHAT YOU NEED
Please bring a notebook and some coloured pens with you to the workshop. I will provide you with an electronic copy of the MasterClass slides and any handouts roughly 48 hours before the event. Recording or videoing the presentation is not permitted. If the weather is good we may spend some time in the garden so please bring a warm layer with you.
FOOD AND DRINK
A light lunch will be provided. Tea, coffee, herb teas and water will be available all day. A snack will be available on arrival and mid afternoon. All food will be free from gluten and added sugar, but other than that I will assume you are happy to eat a varied omnivorous diet. If you have any other food allergies please let me know at least seven days before the MasterClass.
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU?
The MasterClass is designed to create a sharing and supportive environment – a joint learning experience rather than a coaching or counselling day. There will be up to six of us, all breast cancer surivovor/thrivers, potentially at different stages in the process. If you decide that you'd like to find out more following the MasterClass there will be an opportunity to book a one-to-one clinical consultation. The MasterClass is not designed for nutrition practitioners, unless you have also been diagnosed with breast cancer.
