SENDActivity Festival – Weald of Kent Grammar School

SEND Activity Festival for those MOST in need of experiences and opportunities to engage socially and physically in activity and exercise.

Please arrive at Weald of Kent Grammar School at the SPORTS CENTRE ENTRANCE, not the main school entrance. No parking on site and no parent spectators due to safeguarding (as Weald school will still be operating their normal school day). Access/parking only for those who require disability access-must be pre arranged/requested on registering for this event. Staff attending MUST be DBS certified to be able to attend this event. All chaperones (volunteers/parents) must be pre agreed with school and have carried out relevant safeguarding procedures within school policy.

Upon arrival please wait at the gate and register your arrival with a TWKSSP staff member to then be escorted to the event space.

Please no walking onto site yourself as mentioned previously, Weald is still in their usual day of school.

Attending children will take part in various skills and activities specifically designed to match their needs. We have teamed up with Inclusive Sport, a specific provider of SEND physical activity and sport, as well as Wayne, from Olympia Boxing. Weald of Kent Grammar have kindly provided us a group of girls who will act as buddies and mentors during the event and rotate around with schools to provide a memorable experience for those children.
