It's a really fun, hands on day led by James, founder of Wild Bread, who will guide you through all the steps of the sourdough process and give you lots of tips and tricks to continue baking really amazing sourdough at home. You'll learn how to take care of your starters, mix, shape and bake a variety of sourdough breads using different organic grains, make sourdough pizzas, and take home your own sustainable wood pulp proving basket with a loaf that you have made to prove overnight in the fridge and bake in the morning.
There will be a continuous supply of tasty Curve Roasters coffee and sweet treats to keep you going throughout the day and we will also share a delicious lunch together of freshly baked sourdough pizzas made with your own hands.
At the end of the workshop you'll be heading home with a head full of new ideas, your own proving basket, all the bread you bake during the day, wheat and rye starters, a bag of organic stoneground flour, a dough scraper and a booklet of instructions and recipes, all to help you continue your sourdough baking journey.
