Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Bore Place

If you go down to the woods today... Younger children will have a wonderful morning exploring the vegetable garden, spotting the bears hiding amongst the seasonal produce and harvesting some cucumbers and tomatoes.

To prepare the picnic, they will make fresh sandwiches with our harvest (or even with some honey, bears love honey!) and bake delicious scones. While the scones bake we will meet our herd of dairy cows and then enjoy our picnic together with our bears (and a story or two) in the Green Man Glade.

For the cooking activity, children will work in pairs and share what they have made between them to take home.
