Event Description
Please join us for a boujie black tie event that Reggie would have loved!… All in support of The Reggie Kubi Tribute Fund; aiding The Christie Charity in funds for research into adenoid cystic carcinoma.
Adenoid cystic carcinoma (ACC) is a very rare head and neck cancer.
Unfortunately, as it is so rare, there hasn’t been much research into it, and so ACC is poorly understood. If the disease reoccurs it is incurable.
There is a need to better understand the biology of ACC to develop new and effective treatments.
The Christie Hospital in Manchester is the only UK referral centre for patients with ACC with an active clinical research programme. Any promising research found by The Christie is shared countrywide.
This is why we have set up The Reggie Kubi Tribute Fund; so funds raised can support adenoid cystic carcinoma research at The Christie Charity.
Reggie would want to help as many people as physically possible, so they don’t have to suffer like he did.
