We are delighted to reopen the National Aerospace Library.
Some important changes have been put in place to ensure that members and staff can continue to use the NAL.
Making a booking
All visitors, including members, need to book a slot to maintain safety requirements.
The NAL will initially be open between 10am -4pm on Wednesdays & Thursdays. Please book either a morning slot or afternoon slot, or both if you wish to visit for the full day.
You need to book even if you are intending to drop off or pick up library materials.
If you wish to view particular journals or items please specify on your booking.
Hygiene is essential - please use the hand sanitiser on entry
Desks and chairs will be spaced in accordance with social distancing restrictions, and there will be reduced capacity across the NAL.
The self-service photocopier will be available.
As per guidelines we will be quarantining materials returned to the library.
We will be keeping a secure temporary record of your visit for 21 days after which it will be destroyed. During this time your information may be shared with NHS Test and Trace service if necessary.
Please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01252 701038 if you have any questions.
