Wilf Walk – Southease

40 km to celebrate 40 years of care
Join us for a stunning walk across the south coast of Sussex; a 40km walking challenge to celebrate 40 years of hospice care. The walk starts at Southease and will take you via Alfriston and Eastbourne, before finishing at Normans Bay.

The walk is broken down into three stages, so you can choose a shorter distance if you like:

Southease to Alfriston 11km

Alfriston to Eastbourne 16km

Eastbourne to Normans Bay 13km

Entry is £40 per walker for the full route, £15 for a single stage and £30 for two stages. The cost of entry includes route instructions, refreshments en route and at the finish line, a 40th anniversary commemorative T-shirt and a challenge medal on completion.

There is no minimum fundraising target but we are asking participants to aim for at least £100, which could cover the cost of a Nurse’s care on our Inpatient Unit, or out in the community, for one day. A fundraising pack full of fundraising tips and resources will be sent to all participants.
