Whether you have breakfast at home, on the way to work or with friends after the school run, why not make your breakfast count this week?

From 21st to the 24th March, Heart of Kent Hospice is asking people to have breakfast and make a donation. The Hospice relies on the generosity of the local community to raise £4 out of every £5 it spends caring for terminally ill patients and their families. The money you donate, whether having breakfast at home with your family, enjoying coffee and pastries in the office with colleagues, or treating yourself at one of our participating eateries will make a huge difference.

Participating eateries include;

  • Aunt Sally’s Kitchen – ME16 0PU
  • Leah’s Bistro – ME14 1HT
  • The Bow Window – ME17 2PG
  • The Curious Eatery – ME17 4HW
  • The Living Café – ME14 1PP
  • The Running Horse – ME14 3AG

“Organising a breakfast doesn’t necessarily need to be something big,” says Karen Newton, the Hospice’s Community Partnership Fundraiser. She continues, “It can simply be friends meeting up for a coffee and putting some money in a pot or even a group of people heading to a café and making a donation.”

So why not make your breakfast count this week and have breakfast for Heart of Kent Hospice?
