The Hive is a brand new concept, described by some as a new-age internet cafe, others a collaborative co-working centre. It is both of these and so much more. A place where all types of workers and the local community can work, collaborate and socialise.
In essence, an environment that stimulates enterprise, and allows local business people to take a break from home-working, interact with like-minded individuals, and be there for the community – at the heart of the community; whilst also offering welcoming spaces for people of all ages to enjoy one another’s company during the evenings and on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Hive offers hot desking, meeting zones, locally sourced freshly prepared cuisine in the Greek Kitchen, events, live music, local art and networking all in one fabulously designed space.
An amazing opportunity for you and a companion to experience the buzz at The Hive with two tickets to the increasingly popular ‘Music & Meze Fridays’. First Friday of every month- support local music talent organised and promoted by Big WOW Live. Meet-up with friends, family or colleagues for a night of great live music and mouth-watering Greek meze.

Formed in 2010 Kent-based folk/rock artists The Breretons were born from the ashes of London rock outfit The Original Sinners, brother/sister duo Marc and Charlotte decided it best to move away from Marc’s hard rock & heavy metal fascinations, opting for a return to their folk roots to play heartfelt storytelling songs crafted around haunting harmony vocals.
In 2016 the band were out supporting Michele Stodart of the Magic Numbers in the build-up to the release of their debut album “To Keep You Safe”. The record features a stellar line up of musicians including Paul Winter-Hart (Kula-Shaker) on drums, the acclaimed Henrik Irgens (Jamie Lawson) on Bass, Andy Vickery (Nao) on guitar, and is produced by Jonathon James (My Preserver) and mixed by Joe Hirst (140db). The lead single “Love It” was made record of the week on BBC Introducing in Kent and the album is out now on LP and CD. Described by XYZ Magazine as “The UK’s newest folk-noir superstars in the making.”
