Benenden Hospital will be throwing open its doors to members of the public for its annual Open Day on Sunday, 19 May, with free health and eye checks.
Visitors can drop in and chat to the hospital’s clinical teams about a range of self-pay services such as urology, hip and knee surgery, eye surgery, weight loss surgery and varicose veins, between 11am and 3pm.
Other treatments and services include physiotherapy, podiatry, their private GP service, imaging and diagnostics, and general surgery.
Staff will be on hand to talk about career and volunteering opportunities and there will also be tours of the hospital’s three operating theatres with families and children welcome. There will be a limited number of free health and eye checks on a first come, first served basis.
Hospital Director Jane Abbott said: “This is a once-a-year opportunity for everyone to come along and have a behind-the-scenes look at our award-winning hospital.
“Come and meet our team of experts, get advice on our range of self-pay services and have a tour of the hospital plus a free health and eye check.”
