Award winning 'family rave' coming to Groombridge Place!

Big Fish Little Fish Myth & Magic Family Rave at Groombridge Place

Tickets are now on sale for the award-winning, ground-breaking Big Fish Little Fish Myth & Magic Family Rave taking place at Groombridge Place on Saturday 18th May 2019.

Venture into the Enchanted Woods at Groombridge Place on for a party like no other in a spectacular forest setting. Dress up as a fairy, elf or magical woodland creature for Big Fish Little Fish’s ‘Myth & Magic’ Family Rave with old skool DJing legend 2 Bad Mice & Luli playing a classic mix of acid house, techno and drum and bass from a treehouse. The event will take place between (1pm until 4pm) at the attraction which is located close to Royal Tunbridge Wells in Kent.

Come frolic under confetti cannons, bubbles and giant balloons amongst the trees. Enjoy Captain Cookie’s craft tables, a foam machine, transfer tattoos and a parachute dance finale, along with burgers and hot dogs on the barbecue, a beer and sparkling wine tent, an ice cream stand and a face-painting stall. All unicorns, dragons, fauns, elves and fairies welcome!

Hannah Saunders BFLF Founder says: ‘Our woodland family raves at Groombridge are the stuff of legend. One attendee told me that it was his third favourite day ever after his wedding and birth of his son.’

The event is ideal for families with 0-8 year olds (though all ages welcome).

The impressive woodland setting at Groombridge Place is the perfect venue for this fun packed family rave as it has the most amazing outdoor adventure playground with massive wooden boats to clamber over. Not to mention the giant tree swings!!

Please also note appropriate clothing must be worn depending on the weather. Prams/Buggies cannot be taken into the Rave area as space is limited – the buggy park will be just outside the event space and is outdoors.

Directions to Groombridge Place:

Groombridge Place is located in the village of Groombridge, 4 miles south-west of Tunbridge Wells on the B2110, which is just off the A264 Tunbridge Wells/ East Grinstead road – on the Kent and East Sussex county border.

By Road: From the M25: Exit at Junction 5 and head south on the A21. After 10 miles, exit at A26 signed Tunbridge Wells: then take A264 to East Grinstead and follow the signs to Groombridge village and Groombridge Place.

By Rail: London Charing Cross to Tunbridge Wells, then bus or taxi to Groombridge. Or take the Spa Valley Railway steam train from Tunbridge Wells West Station with a 10-minute walk the other end.
