Head over to Chiddingstone Castle for their first Food & Drink Festival celebrating local food and drink vendors, producers and chefs. Delight in delicacies, sip the sparkles and enjoy the early autumn glow in the beautiful grounds of this hidden Kentish gem.
Expect to find a wide variety of alfresco dining options from local artisans, food trucks and trade stalls. There will be cooking demos on the live kitchen stage, hosted by Matthew Sankey from Sankey’s Seafood Restaurant & Pub in Tunbridge Wells. There is a fantastic line up of chefs including Will Devlin (of The Small Holding, Kilndown & Birchwood, Flimwell) and Robin Read (of The Counter, Tunbridge Wells).
To top it off you’ll be able to sample and purchase wines and delicious drinks whilst listening to live music and if you want to bring the whole family along the children will have plenty of fun activities to do too.
Buy a castle admission ticket and entrance to the Food & Drink Festival is free! Find out about the previous owners and the history of this historic home. Take in the grandeur of The Great Hall, White Rose Room, Victorian Kitchen, Library, Study and Servant’s Hall. See the eclectic museum collections including Ancient Egyptian artefacts, Samurai Armour and some incredible artwork decorating the rooms.
