Claim a £99 listing on Big WOW – free for 2020!

We know a number of you – just like us – have been working hard over the last few months to modify or even reinvent your offering during the lockdown. We’ve been inspired by all of the ways businesses across the UK have adapted in such a relatively short space of time – nurseries have transformed into food suppliers, restaurants have become takeaways, manufacturers have diversified operations to produce much-needed PPE, and breweries have even been busy producing hand sanitisers. And closer to home, across Kent and Sussex, we know this is no different.

Here at Big WOW, we’d like to play our part in supporting the community. So, for those of you who already have listings with us, or those who are new to the platform and looking for new ways to reach your audiences during lockdown and beyond, we’d love to help you promote your virtual event(s).

Have you evolved from onsite to online?

 Calling all businesses, events and venues across Kent and Sussex! If you’re providing a virtual alternative to customers during lockdown, then we want to hear from you.

 Fitness and education: Perhaps you provide Pilates, yoga or other fitness classes and have moved to online sessions while you’ve had to close your studio doors to customers. Or maybe you’re putting on cookery, art or gardening classes that can be taught online. Meanwhile, a whole host of children’s sessions, such as dance lessons, activity workshops, and storytelling have become popular virtual events over the past months.

Entertainment and outdoors: Maybe you’re hosting a virtual fair (such as a craft fair, wedding fair or auction) in lieu of the real thing. Or perhaps you’re an outdoor venue such as a zoo, wildlife centre or historic house and gardens now offering virtual online tours. Many music events such as festivals, gigs and private lessons have also ‘gone virtual’.

Business and support sessions: Other online events could include those aimed at getting people together remotely – either for business or social – such as networking groups, webinars, virtual quizzes or coffee meets. Or maybe you’re a Wealden business looking to offer special deals and discounts to local residents, in which case, you can also take advantage of the Be Local Eco-Local Reward Card.
