Coming to Trinity Theatre’s stage this February half term, Disney’s phenomenally successful teen hit – ‘High School Musical On Stage!’
Performed by our very own Youth Theatre, this musical extravaganza boasts an incredibly strong cast and backstage crew of young people drawn from Tunbridge Wells and beyond. Trinity Youth Theatre encourages its members to take part in all aspects of show production; working alongside professionals, the range of opportunities is vast and goes beyond being cast in a performing role. The Musical Director of High School Musical is a youth theatre alumnus themselves, which is testament to this ethos.
Follow new student Gabriella as she joins East High and reunites with Troy, her New Year’s karaoke partner. Although she tries to keep a low profile, all hell breaks loose when they decide to audition for the annual school musical, threatening the popularity of Drama Club President, Sharpay, and her brother, Ryan. Our show is a roller coaster ride of thrilling songs, gasps and riffs – what more could you want?
